Many workers’ compensation claims arise from a single accident that caused an acute injury. However, some job-related injuries do not happen all at once but instead develop gradually over a period of time.

There is no doubt that construction is one of the most dangerous industries. The  Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) reports that 20 percent of all workplace deaths in the United States happened in the construction industry. Construction workers spend the day on sites that have unstable structures, unstable ground, heavy equipment, power tools, and other unsafe hazards. It should be no surprise that construction workers regularly sustain injuries on the job.
