Working Hard for the Hardworking People of Connecticut

Five Services Provided For Connecticut Workers' Compensation Rehabilitation

Injuries at your workplace can turn into a need for Connecticut workers’ compensation and if you find yourself in that situation you may need services for vocational rehabilitation.  The state of Connecticut has set up a Vocational Rehabilitation Service that will help workers return to gainful employment.

The service, which you will need to apply for early on in your workers’ compensation claim, is available to anyone who’s medical professional has told them that their injury may not allow them to return to regular work.  If that is the case, you will want to apply immediately to start getting in the pipeline for rehabilitation.

The Vocational Rehabilitation Service offers the following opportunities for you to move towards employment once again;

  • Evaluation

  • Apptitude testing

  • On-the-job training

  • Vocational Counseling

  • Formal training

These services will help you get back on your feet after an injury that has left you unable to do the job you were injured doing.  If you are eligible you can get back in the workforce soon.  While no job is guaranteed to those who participate in this program, you will have a leg up on the competition after participating.

If you find yourself in need of help filing a workers’ compensation claim, a board certified attorney may be able to help.  Contact our office so we can review your case immediately.
