What Is Covered By The Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Act?

It is important to know that if you are injured on then job in Connecticut you are covered under the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Act.  This piece of legislation makes sure that the employee who was injured on the job can have access to the necessary benefits that are required to get him/her back on their feet.

This act, covers the following benefits for those injured on the job:

  • Survivor benefits

In most cases the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Act protects both the employee and the employer.  It protects the employee from experiencing loss of wages and high medical bills and it protects the employer from being sued by the employee.
